Story of Singam - The story revolves around Surai Singam ( Surya) who is an honest cop in Nellore. He joined the police as his father wanted him to do so. However, his father runs a provision store and Singam wanted to do the same. Ansuhka plays the role of Kavya, daughter of a rich buisnessman Nasser and comes to Nellore for a vacation and falls in love with Singam.


Prakash Raj, plays the role of a bad man called Mayil Vaaganam who threatens the victims by kidnapping their kids. But, a case puts him across the brave and honest Singam. Both Singam and Mayil get into fights and thats when the main drama and action start after the interval.


Suray has performed brilliantly in the film with even Anushka doing a decent job in the film. Radha Ravi, Manorama, Yuvarani and new girl Priya (plays the role of Anushka's sister) are the other actors in the film.


The film is a complete package of love, drama and action. Singam is indeed a must watch movie. Surya fans should not miss this movie.
